It was a fantastic tournament where the year 7 girls showed
what they can really do when they get the ball down and play passing futsal.
They scored a staggering seven goals and only conceded one with some great
goals from Jess Levy and Megan Roome. Up against varying opposition the girls won
three games out of the four games and marginally lost their final game due to a
goalkeeping blunder! All the girls played their part and ended up finishing in
1st place and easily securing a place in the County Championship
Tournament. Player of the tournament goes to Emma Goldingay who put in a
fantastic performance playing in defence using her tactical and spatial
awareness to ensure nobody came close to the Sandringham goal. Well done to:
